Our Letter to Metro Eireann on Obama’s visit to the Republic of Ireland. Obama passed by our office in his bullet proof car outside Phoenix Park and gave his stupid smile to everyone. We all cheered. We also sent a letter to the newspaper about Mr Obama. We the Muslim community of Ireland were shocked to see our newspaper Metro Eireann dedicating a full edition to US President Barack Obama. Mrs Windsor’s visit to the Republic of Ireland. Published on May 15, 2011 Here I was thinking about my next column and in walked a handsome Irishman in a Garda uniform in our offices just outside Phoenix Park. I was obviously curious as to what was going on. The man was looking through windows and checking out the different floors.
